Bethel, CT

Bethel, CT - Bethel started out its life as part a of Danbury and broke off into its own town in the late 1800's.  Bethel has the most adorable downtown area - it looks like what you'd expect to see in a New England downtown.  Two of our favorite restaurants in Bethel are La Zingara and Jacqueline's

A really popular neighborhood in Bethel is Chimney Heights.  With almost 800 homes, Chimney Heights is one of the few large neighborhoods in the Greater Danbury Area.  It was primarily built in the late 1960's and 1970's.  There are many different styles of homes in Chimney Heights, but the 1888 square foot colonial is a pretty common style in Chimney Heights. Aside from being a real neighborhood, Chimney Heights has easy access to I84 at exit 8 and also to Route 6 for shopping.

Located in southern Bethel by the Redding Border is Putnam Memorial State Park which is the site of a 1778 war camp complete with artifacts and museum,  If you like hiking, Huntington State Park is the place to go with over 1,000 acres of land.
