Brookfield, CT

Brookfield, CT - Brookfield is nestled between Danbury, New Milford and Newtown and is very accessible to I-84 for commute to lower Fairfield County or New York State.

Federal Road is a main shopping area and it connects Danbury and Brookfield.  If not for the little sign by KFC, you'd never know you had traveled from one town to another.  Costco, BJ's, Kohl's, Harbor Freight and Moe's Southwest are all located on Federal Road in Brookfield.

Brookfield is one of the towns that is adjacent to Candlewood Lake and there are a couple of marinas for your boat.  Down the Hatch is the only restaurant on the lake.  It is so nice to sit lakeside and enjoy a burger and beer during the summer.

When listening to the local news, you will hear "The Four Corners" mentioned.  The Four Corners is at the intersection of Route 25 and Route 202 and is currently undergoing a revitalization to turn it into Brookfield's downtown area.  It is exciting to see that change taking place.
